Tributes to Lincoln dance student who died after Welton crash

“Fly high gem.”

Tributes have been pouring in on social media following the death of Lincoln student Gemma Marshall.

As previously reported, Gemma, 19, from Rotherham died at Queens Medical Centre 10 days after a crash on the A46 Lincoln Road on February 3.

She was a dance student at the University of Lincoln.

There were three people in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

The driver and one of the passengers, Gemma Marshall, were taken to the Queens Medical Centre with serious injuries where she died on February 13.

‘Gone too soon’

Charlotte Abbott said: “So very shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of Gemma, such a talented girl taken way too soon.

“She was always so caring and never had a bad thing to say about anyone.

“My thoughts go out to her family and friends at this very sad time. RIP Gem, you won’t be forgotten.”

Laura Fletcher added: “RIP Gemma. Absolutely heart breaking and sending love to your family and friends.

“You were such a lovely person and cared about everyone, fly high.”

Thomas Clarkson commented: “Such sad news.

“RIP Gemma, you will be missed by all that had the privilege to know you.”

Lincolnshire Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are appealing for anyone with any information to call 101 quoting incident 434 of February 3.
