The festivities will start at the War Memorial on the High Street, and the lights will be switched on at 7pm by actress Sue Hodge.
The Christmas lights switch on will take place on November 21 from 6pm at the War Memorial on High Street.
Mayor of Lincoln Patrick Vaughan will be joined by ‘Allo ‘Allo‘s Sue Hodge and the winner of the Mayor’s Christmas Card to officially turn on the lights.
This is after a civic procession from the Guildhall at 6.50pm, while the Salvation Army Band play carols, and the Mayor delivers his Christmas message.
However, festivities start from 6pm when BBC Radio Lincolnshire’s Melvyn Prior will be on stage with Pudsey Bear.
From 6.20pm the County Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society will performan, followed by characters from the Drill Hall’s Cinderella pantomime which features a flying horse.
Father Christmas will also be on hand to see children, while his elves will be taking donations for the Mayor’s Charity, the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
After the lights switch on, there will be more music provided by the Salvation Army Band.
