Visit the University Technical College on Monday 2nd October between 5 and 7pm and discover how the school’s specialist science, technology, engineering and mathematics courses for 14-19 year olds equips them with the knowledge, qualifications and skills that employers, colleges and universities require.
Opened in 2014 and based in an £8m learning facility, Lincoln UTC is a specialist college, supported by the University of Lincoln, Siemens and a range of Lincolnshire businesses. The UTC’s curriculum takes full advantage of these links to provide students with a wide range of beneficial experiences that bring their classroom learning to life and show their studies can be used in the workplace.
Up to 160 students are admitted into Year 10 and Year 12 each academic year.
This summer, 97% of A Level students secured a university place and 84% of candidates passed nine or more GCSEs, with 70% achieving at least five A* to C grades, including Maths and English.
