Get your glad rags on, and your dancing shoes ready because Octavia’s Trust are holding our very first charity ball, and its going to be a great night for a great cause.
The ball will be held in the stunning County Assembly rooms in the Bailgate Lincoln on Friday 18th November 2016. In keeping with the beautiful surroundings black tie or a suave suit is the order of the day, with flappers more than welcome because style is never out of fashion.
Starting at 7pm you will be greeted with a welcome drink whilst you listen to the lovely vintage singer Jayne Darling to get you in that 1920s mood.
We will then make our way into the beautiful ballroom lit by sparkling chandeliers where we will be treated to a sit down three course meal and coffee after which there will be a raffle drawn and then an auction.
There will then be an opportunity for you to show off your moves as The Decent Chaps jazz band take to the floor with some great tunes that will have even the non dancers tapping their toes to the music.
Of course if you want a change of scenery then you can always try your hand at a little fun gambling in our casino.
During the night you will be able to get your portrait taken and why not keep in the 1920’s mood and use some of our vintage props kindly supplied by Agatha’s Attic to get a really original photo. You will be able to purchase prints from us so why not order one in sepia for something that little bit different. You could even order the PDF and use it for your Christmas cards this year!
The party will end at midnight, but no need to feel like Cinderella because The Lincoln Hotel have kindly agreed to give a discount to all our guests with a double room and breakfast for two for just £85.
But wait there’s more! Everyone who buys their ticket by the 10th October will be entered into our prize draw with the winner receiving a complimentary bed and breakfast stay for two at The Lincoln Hotel on the night.
All this for just £50 per person.
Its going to be a great night, for a great cause so whether you are a couple looking for a romantic evening, a group of friends looking to catch up, looking for a great start to a weekend away or colleagues having a hassle free albeit a little early Christmas night out
