    Join us for a weekend of law breakers, ne-er do-wells and outlaws. From a retelling of the tale of Robin Hood, perhaps the best known medieval outlaw to tales of Pirates including the incredible female Pirate – Mary Read.

    There’s music and ballads for outlaws, presentations on crime and punishment by infringing the Royal Forest Laws. A galloping Highwayman show set to the words of “The Highwayman” poem of Alfred Noyes, complete with musket firing militia. You can also hear the tales of medieval hero Hereward the Wake. There’s also Have-a-go archery for junior outlaws!
