This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of services in the communications team through providing a high quality graphic and web design service to all directorates of Lincolnshire County Council.
Departments across the organisation are placing an increasing emphasis on design especially digital design to support the delivery of their objectives, so detailed and professional management of projects is paramount if we are to meet their needs.
You will provide and produce high quality design and artwork as required by the communications team, taking the responsibility for advising key officers and clients. You will also provide and produce engaging web design.
Some of the responsibilities will include working with the Digital Engagement Lead to develop the LCC branding both for print and web and ensure the guidelines are adhered to.
The ability to style websites using CSS is essential. An understanding of web standards such as W3C and web content accessibility guidelines is also needed.
The candidate must be able to read and write table-less HTML web pages and understand the concept and usage of XML.
A HNC, degree or equivalent is necessary for this post.
