This is an exciting opportunity to lead Lincolnshire County Council’s digital engagement activities, through the council website, social media channels and other online platforms.
Departments across the organisation are placing an increasing emphasis on digital to support the delivery of their objectives, so detailed and professional management of projects is paramount if we are to meet their needs.
You would manage the development, design and promotion of the council’s Internet and Intranet sites, while supporting the communications manager in developing the consistent use of the corporate brand. Whilst also collaborating with ICT to define strategy, site architecture and navigation, map out user flow and experience.
Some of the responsibilities will include preparing a web development plan and assisting with the implementation of a web related E-Government programme to improve availability of electronic services.
Extensive experience of strategic web development and site design is essential. As well as knowledge of a range of multimedia tools, including, CMS, Adobe and Flash. Excellent people leadership, creative and analytical skills also needed.
A degree or equivalent is necessary for this post.
