    We are looking to appoint a File Auditor based at our Lincoln Office.


    To be a key part of the overall system and process for the effective management and supervision of client work by:–

    • using team specific checklists, owned and to be developed by each team, to undertake non technical file audits;
    • auditing compliance with the Firms policies and procedures as set out in the Office Manual;
    • reporting audit  outcomes to the Chairman and COLP;
    • working with the Chairman and COLP to improve standards of service delivery, outcomes and consistency for clients, and to reduce the risk of regulatory breaches and PII premiums.

    Main Duties:

    • Audit a specified quota of files per quarter using objective, team specific benchmark criteria owned and to be developed by each Team in conjunction with the COLP.
    • Log the data arising from such audits via the IT system.
    • Report on individual and team performance to the Chairman.
    • Track changes in compliance levels.
    • Monitor improvement measures taken by the Teams.
    • Audit the firms internal procedures as directed by the COLP once per month.
    • Report the outcome of the internal audit to the COLP.


    • Self motivated and proactive with the ability to work on own initiative (once training has been given) with good prioritisation and ‘on time’ delivery.
    • Capable of building good working relationships across the firm.
    • Excellent internal and external client focus, with ‘can do’ attitude.
    • Methodical, objective and with a very high level of attention to detail.
    • Empathetic to the needs of clients.
    • Discreet.
    • Resilient and enthusiastic.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Sound working knowledge of IT system to include Excel (training will be provided if needed).
