    Employer Bishop Burton College

    Location Lincoln

    Industry Education, Engineering

    Contract Full Time

    Job Type Permanent

    Salary £23,000 - £32,000

    Deadline 23/10/2017

Bishop Burton College is one of the leading land-based Colleges in the UK with strong and sustained growth in student numbers. The first phase of our Lincolnshire campus opened in September 2015 and includes new state-of-the-art specialist teaching accommodation including classrooms, science labs, and animal management facility; agriculture and engineering workshops; a learning resources centre; refectory and facilities for administration, student services and staff. The second phase was recently completed and has provided the campus with a Sports & Fitness Centre and a Health & Nutrition Centre.

At this exciting time in the development of the College, we are looking to appoint a forward-thinking Lecturer in Engineering to make a significant contribution to teaching and learning in the Curriculum Area. You will deliver teaching to Engineering students at Levels 2 and 3.

Applications are welcome from qualified mechanical engineers. Particular preference will be given to agricultural engineers with recent industry experience.  Experience within education is not essential as training can be given however; a positive attitude and motivation are essential requirements for this role. You should have a clear focus on student success, progression and development.

You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to manage your own workload. If you have a genuine interest in a career in teaching and would like to be part of an organisation that continuously strives for excellence then we would like to hear from you.
