We are seeking to appoint a professional, confident, numerate and well organised person to join our busy Finance Office within The Priory Federation of Academies.
The Procurement Purchase Ledger Clerk will be primarily responsible for raising purchase orders, confirming goods received, entering purchase invoices and dealing with purchase related queries using a fully integrated accounting package. Please see job description for further details.
The role will involve providing financial support and working closely with the other members of the Academy staff, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Officer and the Chief Financial Officer. Applicants are to have experience of Microsoft applications, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
We are looking for candidates with a genuine interest in a career in finance. Applicants are to have achieved grade A*-C in both GCSE English and Math or equivalent. Ideally the applicants are to be qualified to AAT level 3 or equivalent.
