    Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a wide-ranging role with a diverse level of responsibilities.

    The Lincolnshire Showground is home to whole-site events, concerts, conferences, exhibitions, balls, training days and awards dinners as well as the flagship event, The Lincolnshire Show. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a wide-ranging role with a diverse level of responsibilities. The successful candidate will be involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations and will directly and manage all the grounds/facilities team and contractors. Experience in producing and monitoring maintenance, labour and capital budgets will be essential, as will the ability to negotiate and review contracts with both new and existing suppliers and to be fully conversant with relevant health and safety legislation.

    The successful candidate will be a highly motivated manager, a hands-on team player and possess good organisational skills as well as good practical skills and will preferably have at least 3 years management experience within a similar role. Experience of working in the events industry would be desirable but not essential.
