    Bishop Burton College is one of the leading land-based Colleges in the UK with strong and sustained growth in student numbers.

    The first phase of our new Lincolnshire campus opened in September 2015 and includes new state-of-the-art specialist teaching accommodation including classrooms, science labs, and animal management facility; agriculture and engineering workshops; a learning resources centre; refectory and facilities for administration, student services and staff. The second phase was recently completed and has provided the campus with a Sports & Fitness Centre and a Health & Nutrition Centre.

    We are looking for an experienced Tutor/Assessor with a “Can Do” attitude, excellent communication skills and attention to detail to join our Services to Business team and deliver training to horticultural apprentices;

    The successful candidate will deliver a ‘beginning to end’ package to both new and existing Horticultural Apprentices. Actively marketing horticultural provision to employers and new apprentices. Setting up new apprentices and delivering training and assessment both at College and in the workplace. Preparing apprentices for ‘end point assessment’ and ensuring completion of additional qualifications.

    Candidates should have recent industrial experience, preferably A1 Assessor Award or D32 / 33 and a Horticultural qualification at level 3 or above.
