Store closing: Lincoln Bathstore begins clearing stock

The company fell into administration last week

Bathstore has hoisted ‘store closing’ signs into the windows of its Lincoln branch after the company fell into administration.

The shop is now holding a sale with up to 50% off the marked price of items.

It comes after the company collapsed last week and put more than 500 jobs at risk across 135 stores.

They announced the move after “several months of difficult trading,” but the company is still trading while hunting for a buyer.

Signs went up in the Bathstore window on July 4 which said “everything must go” “the store is closing” “save up to 50%” and “£25 million warehouse clearance. Order with confidence for delivery from stock.”
