Father Ted comedian to visit Lincoln

Oh, go on: Renowned comedian Ardal O’Hanlon will be performing at the Lincoln Drill Hall this autumn.

Father Ted comedian Ardal O’Hanlon will be coming to the Lincoln Drill Hall with his new tour this autumn.

His new set on October 9 will see him laughing about recession, weather, ageing bodies, relationships, raising children and even the Swiss.

The Irish comedian is a highly acclaimed stand up, best known for his parts as the absent-minded Father Dougal Maguire on Father Ted and superhero Thermoman/ George Sunday on My Hero. O’Hanlon has also guest starred in Dr.Who and teen drama Skins.

O’Hanlon has toured across the world, and released two DVDs, Ardal O’Hanlon Live and Ardal O’Hanlon Live in Dublin. His debut novel, Talk of the Town, was released in 1999 to great acclaim, and remained in the best sellers chart for six months.

The show starts at 8pm. Tickets cost £18, and can be bought from the Lincoln Drill Hall box office.
