Police looking for large knife threat victim

Knife threat: Police are asking a man who was threatened with a large kitchen knife to aide their investigation.

Police are asking the victim of a knife threat on Tritton Road to come forward, after they arrested a man on suspicion of affray.

At 6.40pm on September 7, police say a man was threatened by another man with a large kitchen knife on the forecourt of Morrisons Petrol Station on Tritton Road.

Staff at the store reported the incident, but the victim already fled the scene by the time police attended. No one was reportedly hurt.

A 31-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of affray, and was released on bail pending further enquiries until October 5.

Now Lincolnshire Police are looking for the alleged victim of the incident to get in touch, so they can take their case further.

The victim, or anyone with further information, is asked to call 0300 111 0300, and ask for PC Ed Delderfield.
