Police mascot Bobby Bear goes on sale

Bobby Bear: Police will use money coming from sales of merchandise featuring its mascot to fund educational projects.

Lincolnshire Police have put their mascot to work, and introduced merchandise featuring Bobby Bear on sale at several Lincolnshire Co-operative stores.

The merchandise, including a cuddly toy, notebooks, carrier bag and a booklet, is available at 12 Co-ops across the county from November 29 for £18.

The force says the money raised will go towards sustaining the educational project and schemes to tackle antisocial behaviour in Lincolnshire.

DCI Shaun West said: “Please help us to keep this project alive in the long-run.”

In Lincoln three Co-op stores will stock the merchandise, namely the ones on Tritton Road, City Square and Birchwood.

Shops in Metheringham, Market Rasen, Gainsborough, Alford, Ruskington, Nettleham, Conningsby, Long Sutton and Lakeside will also have stock.
