Papa John’s offers free pizza to mark UK anniversary

Take A Slice: Pizza company Papa John’s will be celebrating ten years of trading in the UK by offering free pizza to store visitors.

A local branch of global pizza chain Papa John’s will be giving away free pizzas this weekend.

Papa John’s was established in America during the 1980’s and has since grown — now being found in over 30 countries worldwide.

Lincoln’s High Street store will be celebrating the company’s tenth year of trading within the UK.

To mark the occasion a total of fifty pizzas will be offered to members of the public, starting at midday Saturday.

Mayor of Lincoln Councillor Geoff Kirby will also be paying a visit to the franchised takeaway, unveiling a plaque celebrating the company’s decade of trading.
