Two-car crash disrupts morning commute

Stuck: The morning commute into Lincoln from the west of the city was disrupted on Friday after a two-car crash.

The morning commute into Lincoln from the west of the city was disrupted on Friday after a two-car crash on the A46 north-bound.

Two cars crashed at the Carholme roundabout just after 8am on January 14, with considerable damage to both cars.

One of the vehicles was propped against the metal railing dividing the A46 lanes, blocking the route onto the road south-bound.

Police vehicles were present at the scene and directed the traffic and advised motorists to avoid the area for a short while.
