Car dealer offers free winter car checks

Winter safety: A Lincoln car dealer is giving the first 100 customers a free winter check and care pack.

A car dealer in Lincoln is giving the first 100 customers to book an appointment a free winter check and care pack to keep them going through the cold weather.

Crystal of Lincoln Nissan‘s dealership on Sadler Road put on the promotion to encourage drivers to ensure that their cars are road-safe during the winter months.

The winter health check applies to all makes and models and includes tests on the steering, tyres, suspension, brakes and windscreen wipers. Coolants, brake and washer fluid, oil and anti-freeze levels will also be topped up.

Andrew Smith, Sales Manager at Crystal of Lincoln Nissan, said: “It’s absolutely vital that cars are in top condition and are properly equipped to handle the harsher weather.

“In the past year or two we’ve had particularly bad winters and drivers have had to deal with increasingly difficult and dangerous road conditions and a greater risk of accidents.

“These checks are an important part of car maintenance and we’d like to urge customers to be quick to make an appointment and to take advantage of our first 100 free offer.”
