Road closures set for Lincoln’s West End

Road works: West End residents need to put their bins out earlier next week as road works will take place in the area.

Two roads in Lincoln’s West End will be closed next week in order to make repairs.

A section of West Parade, between Moor Street and The Avenue will be closed from April 10 until April 13, so the road can be repaired and resurfaced.

Newland Street West is also expected to be closed for the same treatment on April 10, but may have to extend to April 13.

Residents have been informed of the work, and parking arrangements for the three days have been put in place.

Residents in the area will also need to put their bins out for collection earlier than usual in the mornings due to the work.

Instead of the recommended 7am, people in the area should get their bins on the street ready for 6.30am.

Collections will return to normal the week after.
