Dance business moves to new location

Dancing queen: A dance group has merged with a Lincoln dance supply shop to develop a new HQ for classes.

A business teaching a variety of dance classes has moved into a studio and dance wear shop in Lincoln.

Lincolnshire Dance will now operate from The Dance Box on Dixon Way.

The group teaches a number of classes, for anyone ages 2 years and up, including zumba, ballet, street jazz, burlesque and tap.

The Dance Box, the only dance shop in Lincoln, also stocks dance shoes and clothing from national retailers.

Director of Lincolnshire Dance Keyna Paul said: “The team and I are delighted to now be based at The Dance Box which already has a great reputation in the area and a loyal customer base.

“We are looking forward to meeting and dancing with existing customers and some new ones.”

Dance Box owner Libby Battaglia said: “I can’t think of a more qualified and passionate organisation to take the Dance Box to the next level. I am pleased to be working alongside them.”

Lincolnshire Dance formed in 2000 and undertakes various outreach programmes across the county, such as Dance4Life and the Aiming Higher Programme for youngsters with disabilities.
