Siemens Lincoln lands multi-million contract

Largest-ever order: Siemens in Lincoln awarded multi-million pound contract with Australian company.

Siemens in Lincoln has been awarded a long-term contract for a maintenance service for an Australian company.

The multi-million pound contract will see Santos GNLG project in Queensland use Siemens’ small gas turbine product line, which is produced in Lincoln.

The contract will last for six years and includes preventative maintenance, remote monitoring, parts supply, and field service for 16 SGT turbines at three of Santos GLNG’s sites.

The new contract adds to Siemens Lincoln’s growing order book, which enables the company to invest in new products and facilities.

The turbomachinery company will be moving into its purposely-built unit in Teal Park in September.

Teal Park will mean Siemens can work more efficiently.

Director of Siemens Service Lincoln Neil Corner said: “This latest order win is fantastic news for our service business in Lincoln.

“It is the largest-ever order for this product line, and we are extremely proud that this happened here.

“The local team worked exceptionally hard, demonstrating dedication and professionalism throughout. The win underlines our excellent performance and prospects going forward.”
