Buskers galore A large group of buskers and folk singers performed in front of shoppers as part of an annual busking festival.

The annual Busking Festival in Lincoln made it’s return to the Bailgate and Castle Square this weekend, demonstrating a variety of different genres for outdoor musicians.

The July 14 festival was based in four locations around the area, including St Mary Magalene Church, although this was unable to be used between 12.30 and 3pm due to a wedding.

Acts included Medieval music group Chevrette, folk meets jazz duo Colin Holland and Gerry Wiswould, The Coffee Bar Cowboys and country punk-influenced band That’s Not Me.

Others to check out were Anne Irving and Whisperin’ Tom Lane, Grimsby singer-songwriter Rob Bywater, the “lady with the voice” Andrea Ferguson, Newark-based Marcus, Didgeridoo man Greg Chapman, Indie rockes The Black Dolphins and folk-influenced Pheasants and their Enemies.
