Lincoln man charged with shoplifting bacon, cheese and sausages

Food shoplifting: Police charged a 22-year-old Lincoln man with two shoplifting offences in the city.

Lincolnshire Police charged a 22-year-old Lincoln man with two shoplifting offences in the city.

Officers on Sunday charged Patrick Anthony McCauley (22), of Monks Road, over the theft of two Playstation controllers from Asda Living in Valentine Road on July 28.

He was also charged with the theft of bacon, cheese and sausages worth £37 from Premiere Stores in St Swithin’s Square on July 26.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court later on Monday.
