Lincolnshire Police are looking to identify the final suspect in a football-related violent disorder investigation.

A large number of men were wanted in relation to two gangs of football hooligans clashing at the Lincoln v Luton match on October 6 last year.

A total of 20 men ranging from 17 to 53 have been arrested for violent disorder and are currently on police bail. The man pictured, who is believed to be a Luton Town supporter, is the only suspect yet to be identified.

Furniture and glasses were thrown during the violent disorder and a number of people were physically assaulted. Two women were treated at hospital for minor injuries caused by flying glass. The disturbance also spilled out into High Street and Firth Road.

PC Andy Pearson said: “Operation Hartford is a post match investigation into a violent confrontation that took place before the Lincoln City v Luton Town Blue Square Premier League fixture on October 6 last year.

“Lincolnshire Police will continue to be proactive in dealing with any incidents of football related disorder and work closely with Lincoln City Football Club to ensure that the local community remains a safe and welcoming place.”

There have been 28 arrests at fixtures involving Lincoln City for the current 2012/13 season.
