Lincolnshire Police have charged 17 men with football-related disorder offences in Lincoln.
All the men relate to a disorder incident on October 6, 2012 at The Ritz pub on the High Street, before the Lincoln v Luton game, when a large group clashed.
Furniture and glasses were thrown in the fray, and a number of people were physically assaulted. Two women were treated at hospital for minor injuries.
This led to the launch of Operation Hartford, to locate and arrest the offenders involved in the incident.
DI Suzanne Davies said: “We hope this operation demonstrates our determination to tackle football related disorder.”
All 17 of the offenders will appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court on March 1.
