CCTV footage: Police are looking for more witnesses to an attempted robbery at a Lincoln newsagents.

Police are looking for more witnesses to an attempted robbery at a Lincoln newsagents.

Three men have been arrested following the incident at the Londis shop on Newark Road at around 10.44pm on September 3.

As previously reported, three men entered the shop, demanding cash.

A male shopkeeper was hit to the head and was treated for a minor injury, but no cash was taken.

Shortly after, two local men aged 22 and one local man aged 23 were arrested in connection with the incident.

They have been released on police bail pending further enquiries until December 5.

The CCTV footage shows the front of the shop before and after the incident.

A number of people are seen to pass the scene, but not all have them have been traced yet by police.

Officers are keen to get in touch with these people, and are keen to trace clothing that might have been discarded in the Fairfax Street, Manby Street and Boultham Park areas.
