Aggressive doorstepping: Six men have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary in two north Lincoln villages.

Six men have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary in two north Lincoln villages.

Officers arrested the men after complaints from two households in Welton and Nettleham on Tuesday afternoon, September 17.

Further enquiries were made and the six men were arrested.

The reports about the men were mainly about aggressive doorstep selling and theft of money, with one of the households dealing with the caller.

Officers in Lincoln would like to hear if anyone else in Nettleham, Welton or surrounding villages was approached on Tuesday by people selling at the doorstep.
