Lincoln Indian takeaway robbed at knife point

Takeaway robbery: An Indian takeaway in Lincoln has been robbed at knife point.

An Indian takeaway in Lincoln has been robbed on March 17.

At around 5.30pm, three men entered the Raj Indian premises in the Birchwood Shopping Centre in Lincoln, and one of them placed an order.

The counter employee left the area briefly to pass the order the chef. When he returned he found the three men behind the counter.

One of the men threatened him with a small knife and the three men made off with around £100 in cash, police said.

The robbers left in a vehicle, possibly white in colour which had parked in front of the premises.

All three men were described as white. The man who placed the order is described as mid-20s, short brown hair, 5’10” tall, average build, wearing a black T-shirt.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact to DC Martin Ryder of Lincoln CID via the 101 non emergency number quoting incident number 361 of March 17.
