A Lincoln man was threatened and robbed of cash in the south of the city.

The incident happened on Lyneham Close in the Birchwood Estate in Lincoln at around 4.25pm on March 6.

A 38-year-old local man was walking along the street when he was approached by a man he believes came from a blue Transit style van parked nearby.

Another two men were in the van at the time, but played no part in the robbery.

The man threatened to stab the victim if he didn’t hand anything over, but no knife was drawn.

The robber took £10 and went back to the van.

The victim is not injured but shaken by the ordeal and angered by the incident, police said.

The offender is described as white, aged late 20s to early 30s, between 5’6 to 5’8, and a stocky build with freckles and brown swept back hair with “a ginger tinge” to it.
