Police appeal after car arson in Lincoln

Car arson: Police are appealing for information after a car was deliberately set on fire on South Park in Lincoln.

Police are appealing for information after a silver Vauxhall Vectra was deliberately set on fire on South Park in Lincoln.

The incident was reported at 6.44am on Sunday, March 9 and it is thought that the car was ignited between 4.30am and 5am.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue managed to extinguish the flames using two hosereels, two breathing apparatus and Cobra Equipment.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity, or has any information is being asked to contact Lincoln shire Police on the 101 number, quoting reference number 100 for March 9.
