Lincoln mayor busts a move: The Right Worshipful Mayor of Lincoln brought the High Street to a standstill when he arranged a flashmob for charity.

The Right Worshipful Mayor of Lincoln, Councillor Patrick Vaughan, brought the High Street to a standstill when he arranged a musical flashmob in aid of his chosen charity.

The event on May 17 saw £101 raised in bucket collections for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The amount was then kindly doubled by a local branch of Barclays.

The City of Lincoln Council published the official video online on the Mayor’s last day in the role.

The 808th Lincoln Mayor will be sworn in on Tuesday, June 3 at Lincoln Guildhall.
