Caravans leave commercial land in south Lincoln

This story is over

Around 10 vehicles have now left the site after pitching on private commercial land in the south of Lincoln.

The vehicles, six of which are caravans, turned up on the grassy land between Doddington Road and Sadler Road in the morning on Tuesday, September 23.

The group has left the site in the evening.

The site is privately owned and for let by Hodgson Elkington Chartered Surveyors.

Lincolnshire Police have been made aware of the camp.

Such as with the encampment presently on Station Road, due to being private land, the City of Lincoln Council or Lincolnshire County Council will not get involved until the owners of the land require their assistance.
