Where to watch the Bonfire Night fireworks in Lincoln

Sparklers at the ready: See our 2014 list of the top bonfire events in and around Lincoln.

Once the Lincoln ghouls and spooks have retreated for another year, the Lincoln events calendar turns to fireworks, funfairs and food in celebration of Bonfire Night.

Guy Fawkes Night, November 5, is being celebrated across the county this year with exciting events for all the family. Here’s our list of top events to help you decide:


Lincolnshire Fireworks – Lincolnshire Showground

When: Friday, November 7
Times: Gates open at 4pm, Children’s Fireworks Display at 6.30pm, Main Display at 8.45pm
Where: Lincolnshire Showground, Grange-de-Lings, LN2 2NA
Tickets: From £3.60 (discounts available)

The Lincolnshire Fireworks 2014 display at the Lincolnshire Showground will include a funfair, food stalls, children’s entertainment, Side shows and stalls, free parking and much more.

Ticket prices range from £3.60 for children to £6.50 for adults. Family tickets are also available at £16.20.

Anyone buying their tickets online will receive a discount of 10%.

Tickets: £3 for adults, £1.50 for children – available on the door

As well as a bonfire and spectacular fireworks display, there will also be sparklers, glow sticks, a raffle and hot food and drink.

Market Rasen Cricket and Football Club Firework Party

When: Friday, November 7
Times: 6.30pm
Where: Rase Park, Gallamore Lane, Market Rasen
Tickets: £2.50 adults, £1 children


Lindum Sports Association Fireworks Display

When: Sunday, November 2
Times: Arrival from 5pm, display at 6pm
Where: St Giles Avenue, Lincoln, LN2 4PE
Tickets: £3 per person, or £10 for a family of four

The Lindum Sports Association are putting on a firework display which the club are co-organising, at the new home of Lincoln Roses Hockey Club.

The event includes a lightshow, roof-top disco and a fireworks display.

There will be a variety of food available and the licensed bar will be open all night.

When: Saturday, November 8
Times: Gates open at 6pm and the fireworks display begins at 7pm
Where: Lincoln Rugby Football Club, Longdales Park, Lodge Lane, Nettleham, Lincoln, LN2 2RS
Tickets: £5 each, or £4 for booking of four people

LRFC are pulling out all the stops for a professionally fired display with food, indoor and outdoor bars and live music in the clubhouse.

There will be plenty of parking spaces available throughout.


Lea Park Bonfire & Firework Bonanza

Where: Lea Park Cricket Club, Gainsborough Road, DN21 5JD
Tickets: Child £4, Adult £6 and family tickets available at £16

Fireworks display. Food & drink will be available at the event.


Sturton by Stow Bonfire Night Spectacular

When: Saturday, November 8
Times: 6.30pm
Where: Sturton by Stow Recreational Field
Tickets: Under 14s £2, Adults £4

Torch light procession followed by a bonfire which will be lit at 6.30pm.

Hot food and drinks will be available.

No pets or sparklers are permitted.

Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre Fireworks Display and Night Run

Where: Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, East Kirkby Airfield, Spilsby PE23 4DE
Tickets: Adults £10, Children 10-15 £4, Under 10s free

Visitors to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre on East Kirkby Airfield on November 1 will be able to enjoy one of the biggest firewroks displays in the county as well as a night taxy run with Avro Lancaster NX611 at 7pm.

See an original WW2 searchlight, feel the atmosphere of a WW2 airfield at night and feast on a Hog roast celebrating the end of our 2014 season.

Join the team for an 11 hour experience with the Lancaster taxy runs at day and night, enjoy a hog roast, play with glowsticks, watch a WW2 German Searchlight and most importantly build memories for years to come with the biggest firework display at the Centre.

Fireworks display. Food & drink will be available at the event.


Bainland Country Park Firework Display

When: Saturday, November 8
Times: From 6pm
Where: Bainland Park, Horncastle Rd, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, LN4 1RH
Tickets: £6 adult, £4 child or £20 per car (up to five people)

Bainland Park is holding a bonfire and firework display with a licensed bar, food and hot drinks. Gates open at 6pm, bonfire is lit at 7.30pm, fireworks start at 8pm. Free parking available.
