Lincoln car’s paintwork stripped by vandal whilst parked at home

Corrosive substance: An offender tipped a substance, perhaps paint stripper, over a car in Lincoln at the weekend.

Police are looking for information after a corrosive substance was poured over a Lincoln car whilst it was parked at home.

The incident happened on Manrico Drive, in the west of Lincoln, between 5.30pm on November 7 and 5.10pm on November 8.

The Hyundai i20 vehicle was parked in its allocated parking space when a corrosive substance — believed to be a paint stripper — was used on the vehicle.

This has caused damage to the bodywork of the car.
