The county’s best: Businesses, farmers and crafters gathered at Lincolnshire Showground over the weekend to enjoy the county’s countryside delights.

Local producers, crafters, farmers and businesses gathered at the Lincolnshire Showground in Lincoln over the weekend to show off the best the county has to offer.

Countryside Lincs was a fun-packed day for all the family, despite a showery forecast, and kicked off a host of family events this Easter.

Activities included traditional craftwork such as willow weaving and candle making, animal shows including falconry, and food demonstrations with Lincolnshire sausages and traditional ice cream.

Visitors met plenty of the county’s prized animals like Lincoln Red cows, and Lincoln Longwool sheep.

In the interactive zone, children were able to take a peak into what life on the farm is like, and after a long day of activities, youngsters were treated to an Easter trail.
