Lincolnites travel to the past on Back to the Future Day

Great Scott! People in Lincoln are marking Back to the Future Day by reflecting on their own past, present and future.

It’s October 21, 2015, but is the world as Marty McFly and Doc Brown predicted it in Back to the Future 2 (1989)? People in Lincoln are marking the date by reflecting on their own past, present and future.

Back to the Future Day, the date the hit sequal’s star characters travelled to from 1985, is going viral.

Many are coming up with creative ways to merge present technological advances with predictions for the future.

Lincoln graphic design agency Ideafuel Creative decided to celebrate the day by digging through their own childhood photos and recreating them now they’re all grown up.

An Ideafuel spokesperson said: “We created detailed replicas to show a creative outlook on growing up and how we’re all just big kids.”
