Police search for man after Lincoln kebab shop assault

Man injured: Lincolnshire Police are searching for a man in connection with an assault in a Lincoln kebab shop.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses to help trace a man involved in a brawl at a Lincoln kebab shop.

At around 1am on Sunday, October 4 a verbal argument broke out between a group of men in the Poppin Kebab Shop on Corporation Street in Lincoln.

One of the men involved, aged 42, left the shop and was approached from behind and struck at least twice.

He has been left with damage to one eye as a result.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “We are continuing to investigate this assault and would like to trace the man pictured to see if he has any information that can assist the investigation.

“Anyone who knows who he is is asked to contact our non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 36 of October 4.

“Alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
