Residents of Lincoln came together to tackle issues with rubbish in the Sincil Bank area.
The project, which took place on Saturday, May 7, saw the local River Care group come together to clean up the Sincil Bank drain.
The team found a number of items in the drain, including two pushchairs, four bikes and a shopping trolley.
Some 17 bags worth of litter were also picked up in the area.
Joanna Okrasa, the community organiser in the Sincil Bank area said: “It was a very successful event. The group got two pushchairs, four bikes, a shopping trolley, a gate and some old tires out of the drain.
“It was a great community effort, which we are looking to continue on a regular basis.”
