Police appeal after arsonists set mobility scooter and bins alight in Lincoln

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a series of fires which were deliberately started in Lincoln.

Around 4am on Sunday, May 8, fire services were alerted to four fires.

A mobility scooter parked outside at St Botolphs Court (High Street entrance) was set alight. Wheelie bins on Robey Street, near Coral on the High Street, and Dixon Street at the junction with the High Street were also targeted.

Nobody was injured in any of the incidents.

Officers want to hear from anyone who may have any information that could assist the enquiry or anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time.

People should contact the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 65 of May 8.
