Woman seriously injured in two-vehicle crash on A15 in Lincolnshire

A 50-year-old woman was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash on the A15.

The crash near the turning to Brauncewell Church occurred at approximately 8.40pm on Tuesday, June 28.

The woman, who was driving a Peugeot 307, was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.

Two people from a Volkswagen Touran were also taken to the hospital but police have said that their injuries are not thought to be serious.

Officers closed the B1191 junction at 9pm and the turning to Cranwell shortly after.

The roads reopened at 1.30am on June 29.
