Police officers searching for a man who allegedly exposed himself to a nine-year-old child in Market Deeping have released an E-fit image of a person they believe to be a valuable witness.

The man illustrated above is being asked to come forward to speak with police after the serious sexual offence on Friday, August 5.

As reported previously, the incident happened in the alleyway that runs between Kesteven Drive and Tattershall Drive in the town.

The suspect is described as a young man who has blonde hair swept back, wore black framed glasses, a black T-shirt, black jeans and was riding a black, green and grey bicycle.

It is believed he is of a normal build and had a “squeaky voice with a slight American twang to it”.

Detective Constable Matthew Wright said: “Lincolnshire Police is appealing for this male to come forward as he may be a valuable witness in connection with a serious sexual assault that occurred in Market Deeping on August 5 2016.”

The person pictured, or anyone who recognises them, is being asked to call 101 quoting incident 305 of August 5.
