An updated weather warning has been issued for heavy rain and thundery showers across Lincolnshire for the first part of the Bank Holiday weekend.

The Met Office weather warning runs through almost all of Saturday and overnight, beginning at 11am tomorrow and ending at 9am on Sunday morning.

Disruption to transport and outdoor activities is possible, with the potential for spray and standing water on some roads.

Forecasters have said that a lot of uncertainty remains over where the heaviest and most prolonged thundery showers will occur, with some places in the warning area having only small amounts of rain,

However, there is a risk of some locally large rainfall totals, with 25 to 50 mm of rain possible in places.
