A woman is being treated for potentially life threatening injuries following a crash in Epworth, near Scunthorpe.

The incident happened outside the South Axholme Academy, Burnham Road, between 3.10pm and 3.20pm on Saturday, August 6.

The 52-year-old pedestrian was in collision with a blue Toyota Dyna, which also collided with a white Kia C’eed and a lamp post.

She was airlifted to Sheffield General Hospital, where she remains in a critical but stable condition.

The driver of the Dyna, a 39-year-old local man, suffered minor injuries.

The 76-year-old man driving the C’eed was uninjured.
