It has been reported that a man tried to grab the boy’s hand.

The boy pointed out a man walking off to his mum.

No one was hurt and officers are working to establish the circumstances.

This comes as other toddlers aged between one and three have allegedly been grabbed by men in attempted abductions in Grimsby earlier this week.

Witnesses, or the man himself, are asked to call 101, quoting log 344 of September 4.

Alternatively, call Crimestoppers – anonymously – on 0800 55511.
