Huge delays after two crashes within minutes near Sleaford

Two crashes within minutes of one another have closed the A153 near Sleaford this morning. Police were called to an incident involving two lorries and a car on East Road near the A153 at around 10.38am on Friday, September 9. Two crashes within minutes of one another have closed the A153 near Sleaford this morning.

Police were called to an incident involving two lorries and a car on East Road near the A153 at around 10.38am on Friday, September 9.

Reports show one lane was blocked due to one of the lorries being on the road.

The lorry drivers were uninjured and the driver of the car received minor injuries.

Police were called to a second incident on the road at around 10.55am, this time involving two cars.

The incident happened at the junction of Moor Lane on the B1209 near Leasingham.

There are injuries but at the time of writing it is not clear how serious they are.

Highways have closed the A153 while the roads are cleared. It is not known when the road will be re-opened.
