Around 70 bikers from across Lincolnshire sent the sound of thunderous engines through the centre of Lincoln on Thursday, October 20 – all in tribute to good friend Timothy Beecham.

Timothy, who was an avid motorcyclist, sadly died from a chest infection on September 30, after a 10-year-long battle with cancer.

The bikers were a sight to behold as they joined for a funeral escort from his home on Keats Close in Lincoln down Lindum Hill and Canwick road before a funeral service at the Lincoln Crematorium.

Timothy sadly died on September 30, aged 40.

In a special tribute on The Lincolnite, his partner Dawn said: ““He would always put himself out for anybody, he was that type of person.

“While he was going through cancer he didn’t moan once. He would meet up with bikers at Willingham Woods and a lot of them didn’t know he was ill because he never complained.”
