A man has been hospitalised with serious head injuries following an attack outside a Cleethorpes nightclub.

The 31-year-old man was allegedly attacked close to the Barcelona Club on Station Approach at around 3am on Sunday, October 30.

An ambulance was called by a member of the public who is believed to have witnessed the incident.

The man was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary where he is in a serious condition.

Officers are keen to speak to the person who called the ambulance following the alleged assault or any other witnesses.
