A Lincolnshire couple have once again turned their garden into a winter wonderland with tens of thousands of Christmas lights.
Derek Turner and his wife Jean have been decorating the outside of their house on Louth Road, Wragby, with thousands of lights for the last 12 years.
In doing so, the couple have raised thousands for St Barnabas Hospice over the last 10 years.
Last year, the pair raised £1,000 for the charity, by collecting money from people who travelled to see the amazing house.
Derek, 80, told Lincolnshire Reporter: “We like trimming and we like the lights ourselves.
“We used to trim in the house, but around 12 years ago we got some house cats so we decided to move the trimmings outside.
“We thought, as so many people visit, we would try and get a bit of money for charity and we though St Barnabas Hospice was a worthy cause.”
As well as thousands of lights, there is also a little notice at the bottom of the drive alongside a postbox.
Here, children can write to Santa and send their letters, with the hope of a response.
Derek added: “We will send it to Santa.
“If the children do put their real address on, we do endeavour to write back to them from Santa and so far we have had quite a few.”
