Cadbury has started filming its special Christmas campaign in a Lincolnshire village.

For some lucky residents in Corby Glen, they were able to get into the Christmas spirit as the Cadbury lorry visited on Wednesday, November 9.

It is believed that this visit was part of a larger campaign to form a giant advent calendar which can then travel across the UK, bringing smiles and sweet treats to the nation.

A giant purple Cadbury lorry passed through the Lincolnshire village with a host of sweet treats for residents.

This is part of Cadbury’s overall Christmas campaign, which aims to spread festive joy with the help of chocolate treats, linking with Cadbury’s best Christmas seller: the advent calendar.

The lorry visited local schools and businesses in the area.

As part of the festive campaign, local businesses decorated their shop windows and helped ease the rest of the village into the Christmas spirit.

Cadbury is not the first company to come to Lincolnshire to celebrate Christmas this year.

Lincolnshire was also featured in John Lewis’ latest Christmas advert, which featured some adorable woodland creatures bouncing on a trampoline.
